New Chapter Update!

Chapter 58: Temple of Trials! The Last Sol Emerald

Sonic X: Gotta Go Fast again is a thrilling continuation of the beloved anime, promising action-packed escapades and heartwarming moments as our heroes embark on their next chapter!

📖 Read it here:

Chapter Preview:

Green Hill Village was gripped by an unsettling storm unlike any it had ever witnessed before. The suddenness of it all left no time for warning; fierce winds tore through the air and rain pelted down in relentless sheets, drumming insistently against every rooftop and windowpane. Inside Amy’s home, Sonic reclined by the window watching the chaos unfolded. The rhythmic sound of raindrops pounding the pane was sharp in his ears, mingling with the occasional gust of wind that rattled the frames. A frown tugged at the corner of his mouth—this storm was different. It wasn’t natural, he was sure of it. The tear in the sky between their worlds had to be the catalyst, twisting the very atmosphere into this violent tempest. As the rain blurred the view beyond the glass, a knot of concern tightened in his chest; he hoped that Blaze and the others had found shelter before the downpour caught them exposed.

Meanwhile, Amy’s heart fluttered with excitement. Though the storm confined them indoors and dashed the prospect of meeting their friends, it brought an unexpected joy of its own—Sonic was there, right in her home, sharing this enforced pause with her alone. She returned from the kitchen carrying a tray piled with food.

“Sonic! It’s dinner time!” she announced brightly.

The blue hedgehog lifted his head, curiosity piqued, eyes flicking over the overflowing tray. Rice, meat, pie, and a steaming cup of tea were arranged with evident care. Sonic’s stomach growled softly, a reminder of how long it had been since he last ate.

Amy set the tray down and clasped her hands together in a way that radiated genuine happiness. To her, there was nothing better than treating her favorite blue hedgehog. “Eat up!”

Sonic dug into the meal. Memories flooded back of Amy’s early cooking days, when her attempts in the kitchen turned simple dishes into charred disasters. She held the unique record of burning even a boiled egg. Ella had changed all that with her teachings, transforming Amy into a cook whose food Sonic now craved without hesitation.

Yet no amount of full-bellied comfort could quiet the storm brewing in his mind. That jagged tear between dimensions loomed largest in his worries, an unstable gash high in the clouds that warped reality and unleashed this endless downpour, pulling threats from one world into another.

When the rift didn’t keep him pacing mentally, Eggman Nega filled the gap with fresh dread. The man doctor’s machines had cornered Sonic in brutal clashes lately, landing hits that rattled bones and left him unable to pinpoint when he’d last endured such a savage thrashing. Even Eggman’s wildest rages paled against Nega’s cold, unrelenting fury.

A rematch was inevitable, one that Sonic intended to win.

Elegance in the Elemental

I am analyzing Delcy Morelos’ Organized Salt Water.

This work is both disorienting and penetrative. There is a charming corruption implanted within it that makes the installation all the more compelling to engage with. It possesses a boldness and an atmospheric insistence that could anchor any space it inhabits. The surface feels fringed yet resolute, fragmented while unmistakably whole. The use of organic materials intensifies the work’s depth, lending it a sense of propriety and unexpected refinement.

The installation, composed of soil and acrylic on jute, was created in 2014.

Delcy Morelos studied at the Cartagena School of Fine Arts and currently lives and works in Bogotá. Her space in the medium is immensely tied to ancestral Andean cosmovision with a leaning on earth-based knowledge systems and material memory to construct immersive environments that operate beyond purely visual perception.

I chose to examine this work because of the profound elegance ingrained in its presentation. The delineation feels intentional, the composition evocative rather than decorative.

I am experiencing this work as someone instinctively drawn to vibrancy; especially when it emerges from materials that suggest erosion, time, and elemental force rather than polish or excess.

Your Smile

It has me sliding into your DMs to compliment it,

Without expecting a response, but you came back with it.

Letting me know how it made you feel, with emojis and thank you.

I was just letting my feelings speak, so no need for the thank you.

Could have been my response, but I just left it on read.

Until I saw that smile again, so back to your DMs I head.

A few compliments later, now I’m responding to your stories.

A few replies later, now I want to know your story.

What keeps that smile from a frown and how genuine your soul is.

Asking deep questions so your heart I don’t miss.

Might be a long shot, but won’t know if I don’t take the shot.

As I reread this, I’m contemplating if I should send it or not.

Knowing what I’m risking, and I’m risking a lot.

Because to me, your smile is the whole shake and not the cherry on top.

I’m writing a slowburn Nightmare x Reader series, but I’m kinda struggling to work around the fact that Nightmare is a Bad Person while the Reader is very morally good. I also want to keep the relationship healthy, too.

However, I want to avoid just reforming him and turn him into a “good guy”, and I’m stuck because I don’t wanna have the reader turn a blind eye to it, either.

PLEASE GIVE ME SUGGESTIONS I ALREADY HAVE THE ENTIRE OUTLINE MINUS THE ENDING WRITTEN

And for anyone who’s curious, it’s a soulmate/Beauty and the Beast inspired AU ;)
