About the Author

Bibi Angola began her teaching career in New Jersey and has been teaching in the Los Angeles area for almost thirty years. Her teaching experience encompasses teaching English, ESL, Creative Writing, History, Health, Social Studies, and Journalism in various high schools. She has also taught Adult School and At-Risk Students at various continuation schools.

During undergraduate school, Bibi was an Exchange Student to Portsmouth College of Education in Portsmouth, England and also studied Spanish in Oaxtepec, Mexico. In addition to her Bachelor's Degree from The College of New Jersey, she holds a Master's Degree from Seton Hall University and a Language Development Specialist Certificate (LDS) in English/Spanish bi-lingual education, and has a Life Credential in teaching English for the State of New Jersey.

Ms. Angola has been an English Department Chairperson, Mentor and Lead Teacher numerous times for various schools. Additionally, she has served as Secondary Director and Recording Secretary of the Teacher's Association of Paramount (TAP) (Paramount Teacher's Union), and is a current member of CTA (California Teacher's Association) and NEA (National Education Assocation).

Continuing on her path as a lifelong learner, Bibi is currently studying to be a Primordial Sound Meditation Teacher with Chopra Center University. She believes that by feeding your mind with good and positive thoughts, one can best be of service in helping students reach their full potential as global citizens.
